I wish I could spend all my class time with the students outside. Since that is not always possible I strive to bring nature into the classroom.

Here I share with you ideas for creating a nurturing classroom enviroment using natural materials.

Removing plastic toys and replacing them with open-ended materials creates a classroom that requires less conflict managment and more exploration.
